Enterprise Kenya Launches Digital Finance Referral Platform
Enterprise Kenya today unveiled its new digital finance referral platform, enabling Kenyan MSMEs to access matched lending and grant opportunities online for the first time. The platform, developed in partnership with Kenya's leading financial institutions, is expected to connect over 20,000 businesses to finance in its first year of operation.
Government Announces Expansion of AGPO Programmes
The Cabinet Secretary for Trade and Investment announced a significant expansion of the Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO) programme, raising the procurement reservation for youth, women and persons with disabilities enterprises to 35 percent. Enterprise Kenya will administer the expanded programme from July 2026.
Enterprise Kenya Partners with KCB Group for SME Finance
Enterprise Kenya and KCB Group have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a dedicated SME finance referral pathway, creating a streamlined route for businesses referred through the Enterprise Kenya platform to access KCB's suite of SME loan products at preferential terms.
New Advisory Programme for Women Entrepreneurs
Enterprise Kenya has launched a specialised advisory programme targeting women-led businesses, providing free one-to-one sessions with expert advisors across finance, business planning, market access and digital adoption. The programme will initially run in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru and Eldoret before being rolled out nationally.
